For years, people have asked us: “What makes Corey Avenue special?”
Now, we finally have an answer they can see for themselves.
This Is Corey Avenue: A Mini Documentary is a 16-minute film that tells the complete story of our street—from its historic roots in St. Pete Beach to the devastating hurricanes of 2024, from our beloved Sunday Markets to the business owners who make this community thrive.
Why We Made This
Corey Avenue has always been more than just a street. It’s a destination, a community, and for many of us, it’s home. But after last year’s storms tested our resilience, we realized something: this story needed to be told.
Too many people drive past Corey Avenue without knowing what’s here. Too many visitors stick to the main beach strips and miss the charm, the local flavor, and the genuine community spirit that defines this place.
This documentary is our way of changing that.
What You’ll See
In just under 17 minutes, you’ll meet the business owners who rebuilt after the hurricanes hit. You’ll learn about the street’s history and how it’s evolved over decades. You’ll experience the Sunday Market through the eyes of vendors and visitors. And you’ll discover why so many people—locals and tourists alike—keep coming back.
This isn’t a promotional video. It’s a real documentary featuring real voices from our community. The story is honest, the footage is beautiful, and the message is clear: Corey Avenue is something worth celebrating.
