One of the most common questions we hear — whether it’s for the Sunday Market, a street party, or just a day of shopping and dining — is “Where is there parking at Corey Avenue?”
The good news is there are plenty of parking options on and around Corey Avenue, and many of them are free.
Free Parking on Corey Avenue
When visiting Corey Avenue for any event or outing, free parking is available at several convenient locations right in the heart of the district.
St. Pete Beach City Hall is located at 155 Corey Ave and offers a large, free parking lot just steps from the shops and restaurants. It’s one of the most popular spots, especially on event days, so arriving early is a good idea.
Free on-street parking is also available along the 200 to 400 blocks of Corey Avenue. These spaces are free — no meter required.
The Old Wells Fargo Bank Building at 400 Corey Ave has an additional parking lot that provides solid overflow parking, only during special events like the Sunday Market and street parties.
The St. Pete Beach Public Library at 365 73rd Ave, just about two blocks from City Hall, also has parking available for visitors.
For the Corey Avenue Sunday Market and other events, we highly recommend using these designated free parking areas first. Please note, the Post Office parking lot is reserved for its patrons only, so please do not park there when visiting Corey Avenue.

Paid Parking Near Corey Avenue
If the free lots are full, there are several paid public parking lots nearby.
Two paid lots are located off 75th Avenue, just behind the shops on the 400 block of Corey Ave. One lot at the corner of Blind Pass Road and 400 75th Avenue offers 38 spaces. The Fit4Life parking lot at 575 75th Ave is open for public parking seven days a week from noon to 6 a.m. These are pay-by-plate metered lots, so be sure to check posted signage for current rates and hours.
There is also a small public lot at 7454 Gulf Blvd with 21 spaces nearby.
Always check posted signage for specific rates, hours, and any restrictions to avoid towing. Metered parking rates in St. Pete Beach can be paid by credit card at pay stations or through the ParkMobile app.

Park at Upham Beach and Walk Over
If you’re looking to make a full day of it, consider parking at Upham Beach and combining a beach visit with a stroll over to Corey Avenue. The Upham Beach parking lot, known as Beach Plaza, is located off Beach Plaza Road near 67th Avenue. It offers 183 metered spaces, payable at pay stations or via mobile payment (Zone 4412).
Upham Beach is one of the only stretches of beach on St. Pete Beach not located behind a hotel, with white sand, restrooms, outdoor showers, and the Paradise Grille right on the beach. From the parking lot, Corey Avenue is just a short walk north — making it easy to enjoy some time on the Gulf and then head over to the avenue for shopping, dining, or an event.

Skip the Parking: Ride the Freebee
Another great option is to skip the parking search altogether and take the Freebee, St. Pete Beach’s free, door-to-door, on-demand electric shuttle service. Freebee operates seven days a week from 6 a.m. to midnight and covers the entire island, from Blind Pass to Pass-a-Grille.
You can request a ride by downloading the Freebee app, calling 855-918-3733, or simply flagging one down. Registered St. Pete Beach residents ride for free, and visitors can ride for a small fee.
For more details, visit the city’s Freebee page on their website.

Tips for Event Days
For popular events like the Corey Avenue Sunday Market, Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day, Sip & Strolls, and our seasonal street parties, arriving a little early will help you grab the closest free spots. But even on our busiest days, parking is available within a short walk of all the action. Once you’re parked, everything on Corey Avenue is walkable — from the shops and restaurants to the live entertainment and vendor booths.
If you choose to park outside the designated areas listed above, always double-check posted signage to avoid tow-away zones.
